How partnerships work at Fundember

How we are compensated

When you click through to a partner provider and apply for or obtain financing, Fundember may receive compensation. The form of compensation varies by partner and may include a fee per application, a fee per funded loan, or a revenue share arrangement.

Compensation amounts are not publicly disclosed. The existence of a compensation relationship is always disclosed adjacent to the relevant provider recommendation.

What compensation does not affect

• Whether a funding type appears in your results — this is determined entirely by your profile and the scoring engine
• The order in which funding types are ranked — funding fit and eligibility determine ranking, not compensation
• Whether a provider appears — providers only appear when their published eligibility criteria match your profile
• What we say about a provider — provider information is sourced from publicly available criteria and disclosed with source and date

What compensation may affect

When two funding providers have identical eligibility fit for your profile, compensation may be used as a secondary tie-breaker in determining which provider appears first. This is the only circumstance in which compensation affects ordering.

Current affiliate partners

Fundember currently has an affiliate relationship with PayPal Business Loan (LoanBuilder). Additional partnerships will be disclosed on this page as they are established and their provider pages are published.

Placeholder providers listed in our database are not active affiliate partners and do not appear publicly.

Your data

When you click through to a partner provider, Fundember may pass an anonymous identifier to allow us to track the performance of our recommendations. This identifier does not contain your name, email, credit information, or any other personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
