What we collect

When you use the Funding Finder, Fundember collects:

Your responses to our 7 questionnaire questions (funding purpose, amount range, business age, revenue range, credit range estimate, urgency, priority)
Anonymous session identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your identity)
Page URL and referrer at the time of your session
UTM parameters if present (e.g. from an ad or search link)
Email address and first name if you choose to save your results (requires explicit consent)

What we never collect

Social Security Number or tax identification number
Date of birth
Bank account or financial account credentials
Credit report or credit score (we ask for an estimate only)
Exact personal income
Driver's license or government ID

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

Compute your Funding Fit score and results
Store your session so your results are accessible via your session link
Send your results to you by email if you request this
Understand how the Funding Finder is being used (anonymized analytics)
Track affiliate clicks for partner compensation purposes (using anonymous click IDs)

Affiliate tracking

When you click through to a partner provider, Fundember passes an anonymous identifier (your click ID) to the provider for attribution purposes. This identifier does not contain your name, email, SSN, or credit information. It allows Fundember to track whether a click resulted in a funded loan for compensation purposes.

Analytics

Fundember uses analytics tools (which may include PostHog and Google Analytics) to understand how our platform is used. These tools may collect anonymized information including page views, session duration, and interaction events. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.

Data retention

Funding sessions are retained for 30 days. Email addresses are retained until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
